Job Description
We are hiring Gynecologist Registrar doctor for a big chain of hospitals based across India.
Job Vacancy: Gynecologist Registrar
Hospital: Reputed chain of hospitals for their Chennai & Bengaluru Units.
Job Details:
- Ensure a thorough and detailed work-up of the patient at the time of admission and record all findings as a specialist in the case sheet.
- Make detailed rounds of all patients under your care, well in advance of the Consultants rounds, and appraise the Consultant of all findings, progress, and treatment plans.
- Review the current status of the patient during routine rounds, document the treatment, and review it after discussing with the concerned Consultant. Provide clear instructions to the Resident Doctor and Nursing Staff regarding investigations and treatment plans.
- Take responsibility for the care and treatment of patients in the absence of the Consultant and brief the Consultant subsequently.
- Attend to patients on call duty and brief the Consultant subsequently.
- Personally attend to patients during night duty/holiday duty and document findings and treatment.
- Inform the Nursing Station/Casualty/Reception of your whereabouts in the Hospital during night duty.
- Respect the privacy of female patients and ensure appropriate accompaniment during examinations.
- Ensure patients in ICUs are not left unattended and assist in managing critically ill patients when required.
- Be conversant with the status of all patients admitted under the care of the respective Consultant/consultant on duty.
- Ensure patients go for interventional procedures/surgery only with initial history, physical examination, and laboratory work-up.
- Peruse and correct all Discharge Summaries pertaining to patients under a Consultant.
- Scrutinize copies of Discharge/Death Summaries before handing them over to patients or relatives.
- Perform any other work inside or outside the hospital premises as assigned by senior colleagues/management regarding duties, research, etc.
- Be familiar with Code Blue Protocols and respond accordingly.
- Play an active role in helping Residents acquire clinical experience.
- Assist in the management of critically ill patients in emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- MS / MD Gynecology OR DNB OR DGO
- Experience: Fresher - 02 years
