Job Description

Core C/C++ Developers
Job Location: Bangalore
Exp: 2 to 8 years of C++ development experience
Mode of Employment: Full Time
Team : R&D

Skills desired:

  • C/C++ Development experience mandate.
  • Unix/ Linux experience mandate.
  • Must have experience in Oracle/ /Mssql/ Mysql Database.
  • Product Development/ Design experience mandate.
  • Must have experience in writing code in C/C++ with Unix/ Linux(coding experience in C/C++ is a must)
  • Good to have Telecom Domain experience.
  • Must be part of Product Development or Application Development team.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop telecom BSS applications for Ascendon suite of products.
  • Make a positive contribution to collaborative activities within the team including planning, grooming, and other ad-hoc team discussions, bringing an awareness of the SV suite of products.
  • Leverage industry best practices and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development, testing automation and Continuous Integration and Deployment.
  • Be a member of our Scrum team following SAFe where we have 14 week Program Increments (PIs), two-week sprints, user stories and a product backlog.
  • Actively promote improvement of team members through retrospectives or manager
  • Provide technical guidance to team members, consults with peers and shares solutions with teammates to build on the collective knowledge of the team
  • Assist more junior team members.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or the equivalent work experience
  • Requires at least 2+ years of technical experience in product (software) design, product development, and/or product implementation, preferably in telecom BSS domain.
  • Highly developed understanding of business and customer needs, and proven ability to represent these with the team
  • Highly effective at communicating and collaborating across multiple teams, ensuring understanding of written and verbal discussion of material.
  • Technical knowledge in software development, methodologies, and design.
  • Proven ability in implementing and configuring solutions in SV using EPM and appropriate SV entities.
  • Proven experience using UNIX/LINUX environments to develop, deploy, and manage applications.
  • Proven experience with telecom BSS/OSS applications is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Experience gathering and analyzing information for the development of effective solutions to problems or situations. Can solve complex problems quickly.
  • Programming and administration experience with Oracle (or other databases) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment.
