About the Role
In this opportunity as QA Engineer, you will:
- Delivers testing solutions for a single product and/or participates in complex projects , Primarily for Desktop and Mobile application (iOS and Android)
- May lead straight forward projects that are not complex in nature
- Operates with moderate level of guidance and direction
- Detects, highlights and tracks bugs
- End to end testing in mobile and desktop application
- Performs activities according to quality criteria
- Delivers testing solutions for a single product and/or participates in complex projects
- Proven ability to work within an agile environment
- Actively and collaboratively contributes to meetings, processes, and agile ceremonies with cross functional teams
- Ensures that risks are identified
About You
Youre a fit for the role of QA Engineer if your background includes:
- Bachelors degree or masters degree in relevant IT
- Software QA engineer experience or education.(Required)
- 1-2+ years of experience in a Performance test engineer role
- Knowledge and understanding of testing process and techniques.
- Experienced in driving and executing all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) on client-server application.
- Hands-on experience with performance and security testing techniques
- Ability to design and execute black box test scenarios.
- Documentation skills like documentation of test plan, test cases, checklist, templates, etc.
- Familiarity with test management and defect management tools like ADO etc.
- Test environment setup - databases like MSSQL and MySQL etc.., operating systems like Windows, Apple, Android etc.
- Familiarity with various QA standards in the software industry.
- Experience with mobile applications in Android and iOS will add an advantage.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Work well in a team environment or individually, with a test to break attitude and ability to think from the end users point of view.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality and user-friendly products in a timely fashion.
- Good communication skill.
