Job Description
Australian Software Integration Company: SyncEzy is looking for a hands-on Software Development Team Lead. Job Description (Role will involve the following)- Lead the company's development team from a technical standpoint.
- Manage the Workload and deliverables for the development team of 4 developers.
- Help define the product strategy and vision. Document, maintain and communicate plans internally and externally using tools such as roadmaps, Bug and issue trackers and releases.
- Manage new product planning, development and rollout, including beta testing, procedures and processes and help documentation.
- Work with and assist the Owner and the Development Team to create upgrades and ensure that they meet technical and marketing requirements.
- Own the entire development life cycle from ideation, testing to implementation.
- Work with Customer Success Manager on implementation plans and training documentation.
- Manage Level 2 Technical Support tickets from Customers, working with the Development Team, as escalated by the Support Manager.
- Writing and implementing efficient code, reviewing code written by team.
- Setup Automated and Manual Testing Procedures, write test plans for the team and implement GIT / software development best practices
- Develop the team further hiring Test Technician and Developers
- 7 + years' experience with multiple APIs and have a diverse experience with SW integrations before.
- Strong experience on Laravel framework and the surrounding ecosystem of tools, Node.js, (AngularJS/ ReactJS etc.),
- Strong experience with various authentication types, oAuth, JWT, SAML, etc.
- Worked on major SAAS platforms (CRM systems- ZOHO, Salesforce, Dynamics, Infusionsoft, Freshdesk, ERP systems, Payroll - Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar core business functions)
- Strong understanding of backend, scripting, and some systems programming languages (e.g. Python, Django, PHP)
- Deep knowledge of version control (Git) and multiple continuous integration services
- The skills to setup and execute test plans using multiple approaches (e.g. Exploratory, Scripted, Automated)
- Strong knowledge of API based integration and micro services design patterns & best practices
- SQL experience using SQL Server
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree and a technical background in Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, Software Programming and Development or similar
- Experience as an advanced user with ESB or iPaaS solutions would be an advantage MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, Snaplogic, Zapier, AWS Flow.
