Job Description
Prescient has an opening for a PHP and Database Software Engineer in its Decision Support System (DSS) team to be based in our Gurugram office.
Candidate
The PHP and Database Software Engineer role requires strong technical expertise, domain proficiency, cloud-based solution development experience, and in-depth knowledge and excellent command of PHP, CakePHP and relational & non-relational databases.
Responsibilities
Coding, implementing, documenting and unit testing complex web applications, modules and APIs
Writing database scripts including data definition language (DDL) and data manipulation language (DML) statements and migration scripts
Creating innovative prototypes to rapidly identify technology alignment and implement leading-edge technology
Initiating code reviews for new applications and ensuring adherence to software development standards
Working with application development leads to establish and maintain compliance with standards for development, testing and documentation
Participating in requirements gathering and functional specification activities
Assisting with development of functional designs and resolution of complex code issues
Resolving and helping to mitigate production issues
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Computers, Diploma - Any Specialization, B.Sc - Any Specialization, BCA - Computers
Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required
