Deputy Manager Tendering

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the General Manager in the accurate analysis and costing of the bids through validation of schedules and drawings.
The role holder collates data from relevant sources for BOQ calculation.
They also prepare Prebid query and project summary document and obtain necessary information from all relevant stakeholders.
The role holder will ensure the execution and the outcome of the feasibility studies as well as obtain all the bid level approvals.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Analysis and Costing
Collaborate and support the general manager in the analysis of the feasibility studies, arrive at a pre-approval bid price and the list of approvals required for the successful bid submission.
Ensure adherence to all SLAs and SOPs. Guide and review the bid document creation.
Review the outcome of the feasibility study to ensure all the parameters are relevant and accounted for.
Present the outcome to the senior management in collaboration with the General Manager and successfully arrive at a competitive bid price.
Operational Metrics & Reporting
Capture accurate data first time right as per the finalized operational metrics and ensure timely reporting to the seniors.
People management
Accountable for metrics like attrition, recruitment for team members.
Maintain a track of errors through statistical techniques and build experience database to aid the team.
