Job Title: ROS/ROS2 Developer - Internship Location: Pune Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced ROS/ROS2 Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics software development with expertise in ROS and related frameworks. They should be proficient in integrating controllers, microprocessors, and sensors to develop robust and efficient robotic systems. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain ROS/ROS2-based software solutions for robotic applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture. - Integrate controllers, microprocessors, and sensors into robotic systems. - Develop and implement algorithms for perception, navigation, and control. - Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of software systems. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in ROS and robotics technology. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field. - Proven Knowledge in ROS and ROS2 development, including package creation, launch files, and message passing. - Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python. - Familiarity with robotic hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers. - Experience with integration of controllers, microprocessors, and sensors - Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Nice to Have: - Experience with other robotic frameworks such as MoveIt, Gazebo - Familiarity with machine learning techniques for robotics applications. - Knowledge of agile development methodologies. - Contributions to open-source robotics projects
