Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Proficiency in machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, and familiarity with other languages like R or Java.
Knowledge of data engineering concepts and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Cloud Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices using cloud-native frameworks, technologies, and best practices.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Create infrastructure as code scripts and templates (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to provision and manage cloud resources programmatically.
Serverless Computing: Develop serverless applications and functions using platforms like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
Containerization: Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes or other container management platforms.
Cloud Services Integration: Integrate cloud services (e.g., databases, storage, messaging) into applications and workflows to leverage the full capabilities of cloud providers.
Scalability and Performance: Optimize applications for scalability and performance by leveraging cloud auto-scaling and load balancing features.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of cloud applications.
Security: Ensure that cloud applications and services follow security best practices, implement proper access controls, and are compliant with security policies and regulations.
Logging and Monitoring: Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to track application performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Documentation: Maintain documentation of application architectures, code, and deployment processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and QA teams, to ensure that cloud applications meet business requirements.
