Role & responsibilities
As Deputy Manager (Marketing), incumbent primary responsibility shall be power trading including sale and purchase of power, negotiations for PPA, submitting the offer, finalizing the terms and conditions of the contracts, participation in bids for clients on DEEP platform and other regulatory issues. The incumbent shall also bring in innovative products and new business opportunities related to power trading. The incumbent shall provide market expertise and guidance including customer services to achieve client attention and growth and expansion of the companys business. The incumbent will also undertake market research, consumer analysis, new regulatory policy analysis, competitor analysis, pricing and trend analysis, open access availability analysis, market intelligence, risk analysis in association with risk and mitigation strategy. The incumbent shall also identify skill gaps for the marketing team and evolve strategic business direction including capacity building.
As part of the job, the incumbent will have to deal with power developers, State utilities, Government ministries, Industrial Consumers (only for sale/ purchase of power on long term)
