Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Experienced in designing and building Micro-Service architecture based application.
Drive the architecture and design of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using object-oriented design, distributed programming, Python & other open-source technologies on Azure.
Gather business and functional requirements from external and/or internal customers and end-users, and translate requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions.
Serve as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, and testing, to documentation, delivery, and maintenance.
Provide design reviews for other engineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, as well as integration, performance, and scalability.
Hire and Mentor a strong technical team.
Collaborate across Engineering / Product / QA / Design to deliver features.
Lead the team to build the next generation system infrastructure driven by scalability and efficiency.
Build and maintain the necessary quality assurance and data protection processes.
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
12+ years of software development experience; At least 2+ years as an Architect
Designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using Object Oriented Design, distributed programming using PHP/Python and other open-source technologies.
Experience writing Business requirement documents, functional/technical design documents, troubleshooting complex integration failures, working with external integration partners, and testing interconnected systems.
Architect certifications from Microsoft/Amazon is an added advantage.
Expertise in one/more of the following: DevOps, Containers, Big Data Solutions, Serverless, AI/ML.
Working knowledge of cloud native architectures.
Verbal and written communication skills, with business-fluent English.
