Fast Platform Modeling team is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our SoC modeling team in Bangalore. Fast Platform Models simulate software visible behavior of AMD s next generation designs. They are designed to enable pre- silicon development of firmware, system and application software. They also facilitate emulation acceleration, performance and power modeling. Requirements: - B.S or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. - 10+ years of systems architecture and systems software development experience. - Experience in writing high- performance system and application software in C/ C++ in Windows and/ or Linux environments. - Strong understanding of x86, ARM or GPU architecture, drivers and applications. - Experience with Linux and/ or Windows kernel debugging. - Experience in functional modeling, architecture simulation or hypervisor development would be a plus. Responsibilities: - Develop functional models for AMD SoCs and IPs - Improve functionality, stability and performance of existing models. - Work closely with architecture teams to understand and model new designs. - Develop test plans and tests for functional models. - Work with internal and externals customer to help debug problems running their workloads on the models. #LI DD1 Requisition Number: Job Function: Software Engineering Find similar jobs: We noticed that you are already a member of our Talent Community.
