FSCOE Flightmanagement Systems team develops the state-of-the-art FMS product for AirTransport, Regional, Business Jets and Military aircrafts. This position is forthe nFMS program team to design,develop, integrate, verify, validate and interact with Airbus customer atvarious stages for smooth delivery of the certifiable software.

Execution Excellence
Play Software architect role for ATR/BGA Programs and lead software design and development of ATR/BGA FMS Product line
Technical Lead for a project, including project s overall technical solution, configuration management, quality, and certification
Managing requirements, controlling scope, and executing baseline change management
Leading critical stage gates and objectives of programs viz., Technical Concept Review (TCR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), IPDS Phase gate exits, SOI Audits and Customer & Cert authority reviews as required.
Define and drive the DO178B/C practices across the applicable products by demonstrating strong adherence and compliance to the same
Responsible to ensure FMS Products comply to TSO/STC/Certification standards and meet System/Software Certification Requirement
Participates in Systems and Software architecture, Requirement and Design reviews.
Drive strong System/Software Architectures and reduce the reapplication cost of inserting the products into program
Strategically own and drive key initiatives viz., System Engineering Improvements (Agile Development Plans, Integrated System Test Plans, System test use cases, System Test Integration Checkouts) and influence stakeholders on early adaption and incremental outcomes.
Driving strong Basis of Estimates (BOE) across each of the Quotation estimates of responsible product for the content by working through PEs, Systems Leads, functional leads and technical managers as required.
Provides hands-onengineering support, mentor and groom engineers on the programs and theirtechnical career path.
Technology and Business
Responsible for Software technical solution development (Design & interface definition). Demonstrate thought leadership with focus on Software architecture with increased reusability and drive reduction in program cost.
Establishes strong working relationships with key stakeholders (OEMs, M&PM, Chief, Platforms, Systems and V&V COEs/teams) to drive growth through NPI s and RMU. Support Business teams on Flight Management Products insertion as part of new pursuits.
Support Product Maturity via new features as part of enhancements with constant dialogue with Customers and Business teams.
Engages in software architecture, design and requirement reviews as a key input provider, first level approver.
Drive robust plan and pipeline of rapid prototypes for the near-term risk avoidance to the program and medium-term features which bring revenue potential through PPV, POC, POVs / Agile model.

Skill Requirements
B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electric / Electronics / Computers / Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience working various application areas supporting avionics functions
Experience working in Systems Architecture, Requirements, Design, software development and reviews. Working experience and Knowledge of FMS is essential.
Expertise working with Aerospace standards, DO178B/C
Has greater understanding of FMS product and its functional areas with an ability to debug issues in other areas.
Possess good understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers (internal and external).
Able to identify and manage risks and opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects
Must have excellent communication, collaboration and networking skill
