Role & responsibilities

Ensuring Direct & Indirect Taxes Compliances of the company

Key Responsibilities

• Looking after overall Indirect tax & Direct Tax compliance of Company, preparation of working and filing of returns.
• Looking after overall compliance of E-invoice and E-way bill requirement. Maintaining reconciliation of invoices / credit note raised with E-way bill portal date
• Reconciliation of Sales with books, preparing, and filing of GSTR-1 return.
• Reconciliation of input tax credit as per books with GSTR-2B, preparing and filing of GSTR-3B return.
• Monthly reconciliation of GST ledgers as per books with GST ledger as per portal. Compliance with reverse charge mechanism, ensuring following up with internal team and vendors for resolving Input tax credit mismatch and complaining other GST rules.
• Looking after and overseeing overall TDS & TCS compliance, preparation and filing of TDS & TCS return.
• Preparing Income tax computation quarterly basis, advance tax working, and compliance with 15CA / CB requirement.
• Supporting Financial Controller in Co-ordinating with Statutory Auditors, GST Auditor, Cost Auditor and Internal Auditor. Preparing working and schedules for Income Tax and GST audit.
• Handling litigation matters in respect of GST and Income Tax , coordinating with consultant, preparing data and workings for submission. Representing the company before tax authorities as and when needed
• Preparing PPT and Process notes regarding process to be followed for compliance with E-way bill rule, E-invoicing and GST rules and communicating to Finance Team and different other department of the company.

Qualification : CA

Experience : 4-5 Years
