Job Description: Assistant General Manager - Finance, Accounts and Audit The Company Pokarna Engineered Stone Limited (PESL) is the largest Manufacturer - Exporter of Quartz Surfaces marketed under the brand name QUANTRA. PESL has its manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh in APSEZ, Achutapuram, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and in Telangana at Mekaguda, Nandigama Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. Role The AGM - Finance, Accounts and Audit is responsible for leading and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with team members and others by demonstrating productivity, initiative, flexibility, cooperation and commitment to the success of Finance, Accounts and Audit Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance, Accounts and Audit in a Manufacturing Industry. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving timely results. Key Responsibilities 1. To handle accounting function and ensure closing of books in a. time bound manner 2. Preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual financial results of the Company for the Management and Board of Directors review / decisions 3. Responsible for adherence of financial and accounting policies and operating procedures of the Company 4. Responsible for timely closure of all Statutory, Internal and Tax Audits and Tax Assessments 5. Provide overall supervision of Audit, Taxation, MIS in compliance with the Indian Accounting Standards 6. Budgetary Control Processes and Monitoring Variances 7. To train, motivate, and mentor the Finance, Accounts and Audit team to ensure high performance and productivity. Work Experience and Skills 1. Minimum 5 years of Post Qualification experience in a similar role in a Manufacturing Company 2. Strong knowledge of the Finance, Accounts and Audit processes. 3. Knowledge and familiarity in use of ERP software system 4. Computer literate, understanding of systems and efficient processes Education and Qualification - Commerce Graduate and a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
