Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock movements. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
Order Processing: Receive, process, and fulfill orders in a timely manner. Ensure that orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped according to customer requirements.
Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs paperwork. Arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment. Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments. Identify and address any discrepancies or damages promptly.
Communication: Liaise with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and address any issues that may arise.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards governing the transportation and handling of goods.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in logistics operations. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
