Role & responsibilities
Position Overview
Being a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end ServiceNow product lifecycle, from requirements analysis through production support. Business Analysis at Tech Mahindra consists of analysing customer requirements, preparing user stories, crafting detailed solution documents for product enhancements, and occasional support for post-deployment activities to ensure successful ServiceNow implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging with business stakeholders to understand their business needs and to outline detailed requirements.
- Collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to craft solutions, enhancing existing product functionality.
- Drafting ServiceNow requirements and solutions documentation, producing product training and support collateral.
- Participate in the development and grooming of Agile User Stories.
- Documentation of workflow, leveraging third party tools and technology.
- Working closely and collaboratively with development and QA teams to ensure optimal quality throughout ServiceNows software development lifecycle.
- Participation in the QA (Testing) lifecycle to validate solution has met requirements as documented and providing feedback on testing results.
- Conducting needs assessments calls and product demonstrations with prospective customers.
- Able to effectively facilitate user group sessions, requirements gathering workshops with a variety of participants from both business and technology.
Skills and Experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least three (3) years of professional experience in a relevant business analysis/product management position (ServiceNow)
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on the ServiceNow platform.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders from across the Enterprise.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment in which you may be expected to assume multiple simultaneous responsibilities. Working knowledge of Jira or other scrum tools
- ITIL knowledge and experience.
- ServiceNow CSA certified. Good to have CIS certifications.
