- Build and scale the engineering organisation to meet the demands of a rapidly growing company.
- Product Delivery:
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
- Drive a customer-centric approach, ensuring products meet and exceed user expectations.
- Technical Excellence:
- Uphold and enhance engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for the adoption of innovative solutions.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to engineering projects, ensuring that potential challenges are addressed proactively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product management, design, and other key stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Foster strong communication channels to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Resource Planning and Budgeting:
- Develop and manage engineering budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for project success.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimise efficiency and productivity.
- Proven experience as a senior engineering leader with a track record of successfully managing and scaling engineering teams.
- Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, architecture, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated experience in driving strategic initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
