It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Chemist to join our food testing laboratory team. The ideal candidate should possess a post- graduate degree in Chemistry or a related field, along with previous experience working in a food testing laboratory. Additionally, candidates who have successfully passed the FSSAI Food Analyst Exam will be given preference. The Chemist will be responsible for performing a wide range of Residue analyses on food & Water samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining the laboratory's quality assurance procedures. Responsibilities: Conduct residue analysis of food samples using a variety of analytical techniques and instruments. Perform routine tests to determine the presence and quantity of various contaminants, additives, and nutritional components in food products. Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and. reliability of data. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance. Develop and validate new analytical methods as required. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including FSSAI guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory processes and efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: Post-graduate degree in Chemistry Experience working in a food testing laboratory environment or relevant industry is required. Successful completion of the FSSAI Food Analyst Exam is preferable. Proficient in a wide range of analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GCMSMS, LCMSMS ,ICP- spectrophotometry, etc. Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards, and testing methodologies. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
