The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment within the hospital. Responsible for safeguarding patients, visitors, staff, and property, the Security Officer employs a vigilant approach to prevent and respond to security incidents.
Access Control:
Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas.
Verify identification of individuals seeking entry.
Patrol and Surveillance:
Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter security threats.
Utilize surveillance systems to monitor activities and respond to any suspicious behavior.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security breaches.
Coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
Incident Reporting:
Document and report all security incidents, accidents, or violations promptly.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities.
Customer Service:
Provide assistance and information to patients, visitors, and staff.
Address inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other hospital/hospitality departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security measures.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Training and Awareness:
