Job Description

Assistant Manager - IT Educational Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline Experience: 10+ years of managing IT infrastructure and 2+ years of leadership experience. Location: Bangalore Roles and responsibilities: Building annual IT budget and ensure cost effective implementation. Creating and implementing the organizations IT policy and best practices. Work closely with the management members to determine growth needs and resource planning. Procurement and vendor management Develop innovative troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs. Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations. Establish and maintain a sound and foolproof security and backup system. Ensure security of data, email, network access and backup systems. Conducting routine evaluations/audits of network and data security and assess their outcomes. Effectively run a helpdesk operation to attend to user complaints. . Maintain inventory of the companys systems, networking equipments, peripherals, printers, software, and other hardware components and equipment. Create and maintain documentation on SOPs and System Design Providing guidance to the IT staff on aspects such as Service Delivery, Vendor Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Audit, Compliance & Quality Assurance, People Management, Expectation Management, Customer Satisfaction, and Continual Improvement. Candidate profile Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications. Sound understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems. Excellent knowledge and experience in Windows operating system Excellent knowledge and experience in Windows Active Directory server. Experience in managing Networking devices like switches, firewall etc. Experience in managing mailing Solution. Strong knowledge of working on cloud platforms e.g., AWS and Azure Strong knowledge of virtual environment. Knowledge in identifying and analysing the inherent risks in the applications and supporting infrastructure. Knowledge in Antivirus and Encryption. Knowledge of ISMS and ITIL. Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology. Should be acquainted with IP Telephony. Should be able to understand any technology though not an expert in it. Example (VoIP). Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills. Excellent Conflict management skills. Strong problem solving and communication skills required
