Job Description: As an AEM Developer, you will be at the heart of our development team, responsible for creating high-quality digital experiences using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the project, from concept to deployment, ensuring that all aspects of the development process are executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AEM templates, components, services, workflows, and other AEM building blocks.
- Work closely with the design and UX teams to implement interactive, user-centric solutions.
- Manage AEM Dispatcher configurations and ensure optimal performance and security.
- Integrate AEM with external web services, platforms, and middleware solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and adhere to best practices in development.
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of Java Web Development experience specifically on the AEM platform.
- Proficient in developing AEM templates, components, services, workflows, and other core AEM technologies.
- Strong experience with Adobe AEM technologies, including Adobe HTL, Apache Felix, OSGi framework, Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit/Oak, RESTful APIs/SOAP, and server-side JavaScript.
- Experience with Sling Dynamic Include, integration with external web services, and SAML Integration.
- Proficient in Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Experience with AEM Dispatcher configurations.
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to marketing platforms like Adobe Test and Target, Campaign, Analytics, and Search.
- Knowledge of AKAMAI platform and configurations.
- AEM Developer and AEM DevOps engineer certifications are a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working as part of a geographically dispersed team.
