About the job:
We have a requirement for SeniorDevOpsEngineer. It primarily involves using a wide variety of
open source technologies and cloud services, Managing Linux servers in Amazon Web Services, Create
reliable and high available server infrastructure for our applications, in partnership with the
development team, Automate the build Process and improve our deployment workflow..
Role:
Role will be of SeniorDevOpsEngineer reporting to business head.
Work Location: Sigma Infosolutions, JP Nagar, Bangalore
Job Description:
1. Good understanding and experience in building CI/CD pipelines using automation tools like Jenkins/Teamcity.
- Some exposure to development and it's life cycle.
- Scripting knowledge required (Preferably Shell or Python)
- Understand Git and the general idea of git remote repository like BitBucket/GitHub/Gitlab/Azure GitHub etc.
- Understanding of any of the distributed cloud based CI/CD tools is mandatory.
- Good experience in either AWS, Azure or GCP is must. Azure DevOps experience would be an added advantage.
- Certification in any cloud platform would be great.
- Understanding the build and deploy process for C# or Java web apps is must.
- Understanding build and deploy processes for node, Magento or RoR.
- Good understanding of Docker would be required. Kubernetes would be an added advantage.
- Understand the security aspects in managing code and builds.
- Have the flair for debugging problems on your own.
- Should be able to understand and advise on infrastructure requirements/changes.
- Must distaste the give up-and-delegate-at-first-block model.
- Be a good honest communicator.
- Handle and manage a team of size 5.
- Responsibility towards monitoring and distributing team efforts.
- Knows usage of communication systems like slack, Skype and zoom and is digitally savvy in general.
Good to have
Any cloud or devops related certifications.
Development experience.
