Job Description
- 4 to 10 years of automation background with at least 2-3 years of hands on experience automating, executing and debugging test scripts using Tosca 10.x and higher
- Worked on Tbox modules, Test case design, APIs in Tosca
- Certifications (at least 2) - AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2
- Possess thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the testing and QA area
- Reasonable understanding of Windows OS, I/O, LAN networks.
- Experience testing enterprise applications in BFSI/banking domain
- Experiences testing various types of enterprise applications - Web, Packaged Apps, Web Services, Mobile, Desktop
- Strong knowledge of various testing methodologies, test processes, test automation techniques, test design principles and full project implementation life cycle
- Well versed with test case and test process management ALM applications
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Eager to learn new technologies / concepts and bring efficiencies or innovation to the team.
Required Candidate profile
- Design, develop and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca software for various enterprise applications and technologies - API, Web, Mobile, Custom/Packaged App UIs, BI and Data warehouses.
- Execute automated regression testing suites as part of agile and DevOps software
- Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source;
- Report test execution results, log defects and retest resolved issues
- Maintain automated test scripts, work with test ALM and defect management applications
- Create test scripts documentation with detailed navigation steps, test data needs and expected outcomes to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards
- Maintain schedules and coordinates activities for project efforts while maintaining high quality execution; identifying task dependencies, test schedules, utilization of test environments
- Interact with various teams and peers in an agile manner
- Implement robust version control systems for test automation code
