Job Description

Oracle is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Project Analyst (Contractor) to work within their Tax & Treasury Project Management Office (PMO) team in India to facilitate assistance during the US Mountain time zone / EMEA time zone under administrative supervision of the Tax & Treasury PMO Director based out of Denver, United States. Additionally, the contractor will work with the Director(s) Tax & Treasury PMO on various Project roles as may be assigned. The candidate must have professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills. Qualification & Experience BA/BS/Bcom in Finance is preferred. MS/MBA is a plus. Minimum of 6-8 years" experience in driving the Company wide initiated projects and Tax (Indirect and Direct Tax) System enhancements and development projects. 4-5 years" experience with executing business process improvement and/or IT systems projects in the Finance/Tax/Treasury areas. Familiarity with Six Sigma/DMAIC. process improvement methodologies is a plus. Roles and Responsibilities Corporate Initiatives, Cloud Framework, Fusion Quarterly Releases, Ongoing / New Testing projects, Data analysis, Project / Process Governance (Central POC for PMO team), Process Playbooks Support and Project support resources. Collaborate with Tax & Treasury stakeholders to transform business processes in the areas of Corporate Tax Planning, Non-Income Based Tax, Tax Audit, and Treasury. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop implement the business and system solutions required by Tax & Treasury in the area of key ERP business capabilities Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve them by partnering closely with PMO Project Managers and Tax & Treasury business subject matter experts (SME), including documentation of key deliverables, such as As-Is and To-Be process flows, Responsible/Accountable/Consulted/Informed (RACI) ownership definition, and ongoing process governance plans. Gather, document, and validate business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders for process improvement and systems implementation projects. Manage functional, corporate, ERP, and new technology initiatives to develop Tax & Treasury business process and system solutions Support Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology standards and best practices, and secure Global Information Security approval for all systems initiatives Support testing and implementation of Tax and Treasury IT systems solutions. Research, generate, and present data and analytics needed to drive key business and process design decisions. Provide ongoing governance and support for implemented processes and systems. In partnership with IT, develop and deliver ERP solutions to support Non-Income Based Tax (NIBT). Preferred Skills Hands on experience in OneSource Tax determination and Vertex applications. Mastery of Microsoft Excel, and proficiency in Microsoft Visio and related business analysis tools. Ability to facilitate brainstorming discussions, gather and document inputs from business and technical SMEs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including senior executive engagement. Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to facilitate brainstorming discussions, gather and document inputs from business and SMEs. Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working Environment. We are looking for enthusiastic Analysts who can work in India night shift to support and collaborate with stakeholders in the US Mountain Time zone/ EMEA Time Zone as the case may be
