Job Description: We are seeking experienced Senior Database Administrators (DBAs) to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As a Senior DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining MSSQL Server databases, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. You will also play a key role in cloud migration projects, particularly AWS, and be involved in high-availability implementations. Skills Required: MSSQL DBA SQL Server High Availability Cloud Migration SQL Server Database Administration High availability implementation experience Strong in SQL Server Performance Tuning Strong in Backup and Recovery of SQL databases Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills Exceptional Database troubleshooting skills Windows administration desired AWS cloud experience Key Responsibilities: Perform MSSQL Server Database Administration tasks including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Implement and maintain. high availability solutions for MSSQL databases. Optimize SQL Server performance through tuning and query optimization techniques. Manage backup and recovery processes for SQL databases to ensure data integrity and availability. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity. Participate in cloud migration projects, particularly AWS, ensuring smooth transition and optimization of database resources. Collaborate with Windows administration teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of MSSQL Server environments. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in database administration and cloud computing. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA. Strong expertise in MSSQL Server database administration and high availability implementations. Proficiency in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization techniques. Experience with backup and recovery strategies for SQL databases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Familiarity with Windows administration is desired. Experience with AWS cloud services is a plus
