The platform also solves for scaling highly personalized health journies with flexible schedules, focused communities, one-to-one mapping to coaches for expert guidance & support and readily available resources. Shyft is launching a range of products in the health & wellness space and is looking for an ambitious person to join and lead this initiative. As the Head of NPD, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and launching Shyfts first range of innovative health & wellness products. You will collaborate with teams internally and externally, and own the end-to-end process to bring new products to market, and will be responsible for the performance of the products. in the market. Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and emerging opportunities in the health and wellness industry. Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance standards related to health and wellness products. Lead Product Development, Sampling, Evaluation and Market launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and target market Own the plan, progress, timelines, and budgets for new product development initiatives. Cross-functional and external collaboration to ensure timely product development and launch. Communicate regularly with, and leverage stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and key decisions. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related field. Proven experience in product development within the health and wellness industry, preferably in dietary supplements, functional foods, or healthy snacks. Strong knowledge of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and formulation principles. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels. Understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to health and wellness products. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and product excellence
