An individual with minimum 5 years of Academic / Industry experience, who has a passion for both learning and sharing the knowledge in the field of Product Design / Industrial Design / Graphic Design / Cinematography / Film & Video / Photography / Animation / VFX . A good portfolio showcasing their best works in academics and Industry. A designer with good social skills on team working, coordinating with Academic Dean & other faculties, with a vision on their own future. Candidate should be ready to work in Chennai. The Department Head is responsible for ensuring the proper management of Academic focus of the department staff, physical equipment and other resources. Qualification: B.Des / M. Des Experience: 10-15 years Department: Communication Design and Industrial Design Supervisory Responsibility: Maintains academic excellence by observing, mentoring and collaborating with the faculty. Implements University and Department policies. Conducts performance evaluation. that are timely and constructive. Duties and Responsibilities: Translate strategic goals into operational plans and establish and lead a management team to implement these operational plans. Foster collaborative relationships (internally and externally) with key stakeholders and partners in teaching, research, publications and knowledge exchange. Foster a culture of excellence, co-operation and respect, driving a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion for all students and staff both within and beyond the department and college. Plan and document the course plan and syllabus for every semester for all the subjects. Coordinate with the team and work towards the development of department by ensuring personal and professional growth
