Robotic Software Engineer on LIDAR @ Customindz

Job Description

Customindz is looking for an experienced robotic software engineer with great experience in LIDAR for the development, modification, testing, and production of products for industrial applications.

This is a full time role working from hometemporarily before our India office set up later this year.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate and integrate advanced sensors (LIDAR, camera, radar, etc.) into our new IoT system

- Develop state-of-the-art methods for using LIDAR to detect human traffic for outdoor

- Develop, test, debug, and maintain reliable, safe, and production quality code

Requirements

- 3+ yearsof hands-on experience working with complex hardware/software systems

- Experience writing device drivers and integrating hardware

- Industry experience writing production quality C++ and Python code

- Solid fundamentals in linear algebra and numerical optimization

- BS or MS in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English

Desirable but not essential qualifications

- Classical computer vision, such as camera calibration and 3D vision

- Point-cloud processing, sensor fusion, and SLAM

- Hands-on experience with cameras, LIDAR, and radar

- Robotics or systems-level programming

- Statistical analysis

- Automotive or robotics industry background
