 Senior Business Analyst (Project Management)

Job Description

  • Ensure effective implementation and adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and standards laid out by the change management office
  • This role will be responsible for enabling a sound management information system by managing data, creating reports and delivering business insights
Key Responsibilities
  • Tracking projects by collecting program status information, updating cycle of work plans, documenting issues, and changes, collected from project leads at routine intervals
  • Tracking and analysis of financial reports covering the portfolio, programme and project budgets, forecasts and actuals
  • Produce resource management reports covering the allocation and utilization of resources to the portfolio, programmes and projects
  • Analyzing the data collected from program status information, comparing results with baseline, and communicating status to the management for review
  • Assessing the project risks, constraints, dependencies and identifying mitigation plans and escalation as required
  • Maintaining RAID log, RACI matrix, Communication Plan, Change Log and other PM templates
  • Overseeing billing and collections processes, and ensure that all claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner
  • Publishing various critical reports, highlighting service level agreement, key performance indicators and Budgetary control reports with respect to project financials and dashboards for governance
  • Preparing presentation packs for Steering /Governance meetings
  • Ensuring data is managed at a centralized location serving as one source of truth
  • Automating/ Identifying opportunities for automation to drive process efficiencies

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years relevant experience required
  • Clear and concise communication - strong verbal and written communication
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to perform detailed quantitative analysis and research
  • Synthesize and present insights and recommendations from data
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, MS Projects etc and ability to connect to a variety of data sources
  • Logical structuring to problem solving and ability to perform root cause analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management certification like PMP will be preferred
  • Knowledge of different types of equity, fixed income, multi-asset, and derivative instruments
  • Experience in automating reports/ processes
