JOB OVERVIEW - NICU Staff Nurse- Roles & Responsibilities:

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staff Nurse is responsible for the care and treatment of newborn infants suffering from illness or prematurity, as well as caring for their parents and guardians. They provide round-the-clock care for the basic and medical needs of newborn infants in the NICU.

• The ability to offer comfort to ill newborns, Knowledge on the usage of equipment in general or in emergency.
• Primary: Basic life support procedure, rapid assessment of patients condition, escalation to doctor for next course of treatment. Secondary: Maintaining appropriate records, forms, and formats.

Preferred candidate profile

Education - ANM / GNM / B.Sc. Nursing recognized by INC / TSNC

2 - 5 Years of experience in NICU
