Job Description
We are looking for an experienced WLAN / Wireless LAN Network (LAN/WLAN).Experience range: 7+ Years.
Mandatory Skills: WLAN / Wireless LAN Network (LAN/WLAN).
Education: BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech/MSc./MS
Responsibilities:
Performs implementation and integration tasks for medium to large, complex Cisco network solutions.
Complex network problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
Work with vendors on integration of solutions.
Assists customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts.
Prioritize, manage, workload as required.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary, on/off-shift and during weekends.
This is not an exhaustive list but are the primary roles and responsibilities of this position.
Required Technical Skills:
Good knowledge of Risk Domains, Tiered Domains, TCP/IP fundamentals (VLSM/CIDR), QoS, IP Subnetting, Cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, BGP, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and advanced switching configuration like VSS, HSRP, VRF.
Cisco WLCs, 802.1x Authentication.
Specific experience in WLAN packet analysis; intrusion detection, performance analysis, and design.
An in-depth understanding of both wireless and wired network technology is essential with knowledge of 802.11 (a,b,g,n,ac) wireless networking, 802.1x, 802.11i, EAP, TTLS, TKIP, Radius, and radiofrequency communication principles.
Knowledge of wireless site surveys, network design, and implementation, and support.
Mandatory: Experience in AirMagnet or Ekahau
Efficiently maintaining network connectivity as well as implementing / integrating / troubleshooting Wireless Controllers (2500/3500,5500 & 9800) & Access Points(3700 & 9100)
Experience on Wireless LAN implementation.
Required Business Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time as well as well as being a collaborative team member.
Strong ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.
Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
Able to respond to demanding target dates.
