Role Description:
As a Principal Full Stack Engineer at Rhythms, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and scaling sophisticated, reliable, and user-friendly systems. We seek a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience, blending technical prowess with a product-centric mindset. Collaboration between our design and engineering teams is integral to our product development ethos, and in this key role, you will ensure that our product not only meets the highest technical standards but also perfectly aligns with our long-term vision and user requirements. Your contributions will be instrumental in advancing our platform, prioritizing innovative solutions that empower teams to excel.

Required Skills:
Full-Stack Expertise: Extensive experience as a full-stack backend developer, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Ruby on Rails.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in crafting solutions that prioritize simplicity, performance, and security.
Database Technologies: Advanced knowledge of database technologies, particularly Postgres and Redis, with exposure to Cassandra, Kafka, or other elements of the modern data stack being advantageous.
DevOps Proficiency: Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/logging tools like New Relic and Datadog.
Scalable Architectures: Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems on cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, coupled with expertise in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science at the Bachelor's or Master's level or equivalent experience showcasing strong fundamentals.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement features, providing constructive feedback in design and code reviews to uphold best practices and code quality.

Stack Flexibility: Comfortably navigate between different parts of our stack, including React.js (frontend), Ruby (APIs), Python (AI models), or Bicep (IaC) as needed.
Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence and innovation, continually seeking opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.
