Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: Responsibilities: Design, plan and implement server components/microservices based on feature requirements Participate in design review, requirements clarification, code review and other project related discussions Technical documentation - design, implementation, service, release notes, user guides, etc. Co-ordinate with other teams for system integration, validation and deployment Debugging/troubleshooting of issues, unit testing Enhance and maintain existing set of server components and tools Support QA/DevOps teams in feature functionality and debugging Work with cross-functional geographically distributed teams Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information. Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Required Skills: Software design/development experience in at least one of these programming languages go, Java, C++ Understanding of OOPS concepts, Software Fundamentals, DevOps processes Databases/data stores Postgres, MySQL, Redis, SqlLite, RDS Cloud services AWS, Azure Experience in developing large scale systems using microservices architecture Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform, Datadog Familiarity with scripting languages like Python Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
