Job Description

                Sr. Android Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Write scalable and maintainable code solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including test cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Understand and follow standards, guidelines, and best practices adopted in the project.
• Work with cross-functional team including designers, information architects, and backend developers to create optimum integration solutions.
• Develop high quality Front End/UI patterns for mobile devices.
• Publish apps on Play Store.
• Solid understanding of the android app development life cycle
• excellent knowledge of Android SDK.
• Excellent in SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system.
• Knowledge of Eclipse.
• Excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data (e.g., JSON, XML, AMF) through various interface types (e.g., REST, SOAP).
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Should have sound knowledge of overall android architecture.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality code culture.
• Knowledge of tablet compatibility.
• Ensure the best performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with team to define, design and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
• Hands-on experience with Android's debugging and unit testing.
• Experience with Git and Retrofit.
• Experience in knowledge on Google Locations and Maps API.
• Working experience on Emulator, adb, DDMS and Logs.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
