Design Project Manager Job Duties

• Oversee the entire design process, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring projects meet quality, time, and budget requirements.
• Facilitate communication between clients and the design team to clearly understand project objectives, revisions, and approvals.
• Allocate resources effectively, assigning tasks to designers based on their strengths and project needs.
• Implement project management tools and methodologies to track project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and freelancers, including scope of work, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide creative direction and feedback to the design team, ensuring the final product aligns with client expectations and brand standards.
• Conduct risk assessments for projects, identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans.
• Organize and lead post-project evaluations to identify successes, challenges, and areas for improvement for future projects.
