Job Description
Requirements- At least 8-10 years experience as an Agile Project manager / Scrum Master.
- Experience working on large complex projects/programmes in the field of financial/banking applications (added advantage).
- Experience of working on agile projects and deliveries
- Work with business users and Development Teams as a servant leader.
- Self-starter, strong influencing skills and extremely hands-on in the management and coaching of Agile teams.
- Gather, collate & perform data analysis and document them appropriately
- Partner with Scrum team, business users, tech delivery and development team in arriving at appropriate solutions to meet business needs.
- Act as Facilitator to Product Owner and Agile team.
- Understand Agile Onion Planning and Lead sprint Release and Iteration planning and daily stand-ups and ensure impediments raised are addressed and escalated promptly if needed.
- Work with business users to devise user stories and help testers with Agile testing guidelines.
- Create and drive project work plans and revise plan as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Assist users in UAT, regression test ensuring system deliverables meet requirements objectives.
- Support post implementation review and queries from business users.
- Work with scrum team and infrastructure/QA on the capacity planning , sizing and review.
- Maintain necessary documentation and provide appropriate status reporting.
- Manage stakeholder expectations on project deliverables, prioritization and negotiation Requirements.
- Act as scrum master for multiple squads with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work and clearing obstacles to meet delivery timeline
- Responsible for end to end testing delivery, Test Driven Development approach for the applications in collaboration with other stakeholders and leads of other interfacing systems.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of different milestones and creating information radiators and metrices.
- Work with development and production support managers to endure timely resolution of production issues
- Facilitates and run scrum ceremonies (Standup, Spring Planning, Sprint Review/ Showcase, Retrospective) with scrum team and discuss open issues, statuses and roll forward action items
- Manage budget and demand for initiatives and releases
- Perform status reporting of initiatives and releases
- Ensure that relevant project documentation, confluence pages are all up to date with latest information
- Develop deep understanding of project/program objectives by engaging with relevant project participants and meetings
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Proficient in Jira
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills for the Product Owner and the team
- Scrum Master Certification is a huge plus
- Skilled in maximising ROI for the team
- Educational background
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience), MCA or MBA in IT.
Min. 8 years in project management experience, preferably in banking environments project managing Finance related applications.
PMP, Agile Scrum Master certified, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban certified is an added advantage.
Technology knowledge
- Knowledge of .Net, Java and open source stack an added advantage.
- Experience in financial and capital reporting related initiatives an added advantage.
- Familiar with Java, Apache Tomcat, Windows, Springboot, Angular JS for UI
- Familiar with modern application design using micro-services and use of CI/CD tools such as GIT, JIRA/Jenkins.
- Advanced skills in JIRA and Confluence
- Meticulous and able to work under tight project timeline.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent presentation, analytical and articulation skills.
- Proactive, possess drive and have a positive attitude.
- Democratic or Servant Leadership skills.
