Senior Software Engineer Java @ Altimetrik

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality mobile software as a Java developer
• Execute roughly 80- 90 per cent hands- on coding
• Lead quality activities that include peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
• Resolve any defects or bugs during QA testing, pre- production, production, and post- release patches
• Effectively coordinate with all team members to deliver projects on time
• Work cross- functionally with various client teams like product management and various product lines or business units to drive results

Must be a great team player who can help cultivate positive team dynamics and show a passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers. Must have excellent communication skills.

Skills

Java, Rest API, Spring, Spring boot, Maven , GIT and Cloud AWS

Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred

Must have experience with:

• Building REST APIs
• Spring and Spring- Boot
• e- Commerce domain is a mandatory
• Relational databases, writing and optimizing complex/semi complex SQL statements
• Proper understanding of object- oriented programming and concepts
• Cloud service providers and IaC
• Open source development environment using tools such as Maven, Git, JIRA, is a strong plus
• Experience with AWS and Kafka is a plus
• Strong agreement with high stability, quality, and continuous delivery
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and latest architectural paradigms
• Analysing issues from the application tier to database
• Scripting languages (bash, perl, python, etc) and CI/CD pipelines
