Position Description: The Safety Officer at Dabur India Limited is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel, processes, and facilities within the organization. This role involves a comprehensive range of tasks aimed at maintaining a secure and compliant operational environment. Key responsibilities include:

1. Safety Oversight: Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols, standards, and regulations throughout the company's operations. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.

2. Safety Planning and Training: Develop, implement, and manage safety plans, policies, and procedures. Organize and conduct training sessions to educate employees about safe practices, emergency procedures, and proper equipment usage.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with local, national, and international safety regulations. Ensure the organization's activities align with these standards and collaborate with relevant authorities when necessary.

4. Incident Management: Lead the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses. Analyze root causes, propose corrective actions, and implement preventative measures to mitigate future occurrences.

5. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans. Coordinate drills and simulations to ensure employees are well-prepared to respond effectively to unforeseen situations.

6. Risk Assessment: Identify potential safety risks and hazards in various operational processes. Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend risk-reduction strategies and control measures.

7. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of safety-related incidents, inspections, training sessions, and compliance efforts. Generate reports for management review and regulatory reporting purposes.

8. Continuous Improvement: Drive a proactive safety culture by initiating continuous improvement initiatives. Introduce innovative safety technologies, practices, and procedures to enhance the overall safety framework.

9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments to integrate safety considerations into projects, processes, and activities. Provide expertise to ensure safety aspects are considered during decision-making.

10. Safety Communication: Facilitate open communication channels for employees to report safety concerns, suggestions, and observations. Encourage a culture where safety is a shared responsibility.

11. Audits and Inspections: Plan and execute regular safety audits and inspections. Ensure corrective actions are taken promptly to address any non-compliance or safety gaps.

12. Safety Awareness: Organize safety campaigns, workshops, and awareness programs to foster a strong safety consciousness among employees at all levels.

13. Vendor and Contractor Safety: Ensure that vendors, contractors, and subcontractors adhere to safety standards while working on company premises or projects.

The Safety Officer plays a pivotal role in creating a secure work environment, minimizing risks, and upholding the highest safety standards across Dabur India Limited. By combining regulatory compliance, risk management, training, and continuous improvement, this role contributes significantly to the well-being of employees and the overall success of the organization.

Location: ALL INDIA 

Working Days: Mon-Sat (2nd & 4th Sat off)

Working Time: 10 AM- 6 PM

Salary = 22,500, to 55,500 per month
