By harnessing the power of real-time data analytics and intelligent insights, our energy saving algorithm helps in saving a minimum of 15% on Air Conditioners energy consumption. Role Description This is a full-time role as an Electrical Engineer - Data at Living Things. As an on-site role, you will be located in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to data analysis, electrical engineering, and IoT platform development. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to analyze and interpret. data, develop strategies for optimizing energy usage, and contribute to the enhancement of our IoT platform. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field Experience in data analysis and interpretation Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R Familiarity with IoT platforms and data analytics tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of energy optimization principles and practices is a plus Prior experience in electrical engineering projects is a plus Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Internship Description: As an intern in this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to delve into various aspects of the power sector. Your responsibilities will include meticulously conducting Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes to troubleshoot and rectify any data discrepancies within the electrical dataset on our dashboard. Additionally, you will be tasked with devising rules for data validation pertaining to electrical bills, a crucial aspect of our operations. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our team of engineers to innovate and tackle intricate technical obstacles. It's essential for you to stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in the industry, as your fresh perspectives and ideas will be valuable contributions to our projects. Your role will also involve supporting the team in documenting technical specifications and user manuals for seamless knowledge sharing. We encourage your curiosity and enthusiasm to explore diverse facets of the power sector, as well as your willingness to embrace and overcome technical challenges. Qualifications/ Requirement: Understanding of distribution companies and tariff policies in India Proficiency in MS Office or GSuite Knowledge of electricity bill parameters and accurate billing calculation Willingness to learn about the Indian power sector Eagerness to expand knowledge and skills in the field Should be comfortable working in a startup setup from the office. Open to travel whenever needed
