Job Description
Position involves :1.Oversee day-to-day work management, meet production SLA s and conduct periodic auditsto achieve efficient account collection and accurate billing.
2.Prepare andanalyse weekly and monthly financial reports, and accounts receivable reports to ensure accurate collection
3.Provide effective supervision, training, work allocation, and problem resolution to billing office personnel.
4.Periodic updation of SOP's and other documentation to ensure flawless functioning of the Team / Process.
5.Improving the Team's Performance and achieve desired Quality and Production targets.
6.Conduct performance appraisals for the team member sand recommend necessary actions
7.Ensure strong team building and protocol in the billing and intake department by holding bi-weekly staff meetings
8.Ensure proper staffing with support from the HR Team
9.Strong ability to train and supervise the work of employees; effectively organize, prioritize, and schedule tasks to ensure practice timelines are met
Responsibilities
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of entire Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and collections work in a health system
Deep knowledge and understanding of revenue cycle, collections and payment posting, medical billing, Medicare and Medicaid, and third-party payers
Thorough knowledge and working experience of CPT and ICD9 codes, UB04 claim forms, HCFA 1500, HIPAA, medical terminology, appeal processes, billing and insurance regulations and benefits
Strong skills in carrying out every part of the work process, i.e. development, implementation, and administration, effectively
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively relate with the public, patients, organizations, and other employees
Experience in Managing a team of over 100 Medical billers and acts as the expert and go-to person in the department for all processes relating to billing.
