Production Support Engineer/Trading @ Synoption Pte

Role:

• Responsible for Online Support/Production Support.

• Responsible for runtime Incident/Problem management

• Experience inanalyzingapplication logs, web server logs and responsible for daily backup of production data/logs

• Experience inconfiguration and management ofweb servers.

• Experience in managing BOD and EOD activities

• Experience in monitoring tools likeMonit,ELKetc

• Experience in Managing Known Error Database, daily/weekly status report

• Responsibleforfunctional, regression and all other types of testing as applicable to the project.

• Responsible formanaging SLAs/SOPs

• Conduct periodic drills on primary/backup and DR location to keep the platform healthy

• Participate in periodic audit exercise

• Managing production release and rollback

What you offer:

• The individual hasgood hands-on experience in any Linux environment

• KnowledgeandHands-on experience in Linux,SQL (MariaDB/MySQL preferred),Unix/Linux Scripting (Shell, Perl, Python etc.)

• Preferably ITIL (foundation) certified.

• Good understanding of Application/hot-patch Deployment

• Strong believer in automated testing and collaboration

• Advanced training in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative fields. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Master's preferred

• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

• Organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to switch and work on different projects and manage them in a timely manner
