Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing Application and enhancements in OneStream, Hyperion EPM 11x platform ( OneStream CPM, HFM, FDMEE/ODI, Planning, Essbase and Financial Reports)
- Create technical documentation, including data flow charts, system diagrams, formulas and methods for solving business problems, incorporating development requirements and interfaces.
- Coordination of Hyperion and Onestream application development, including ETL and application objects configuration cross team and external cloud platform providers
- Troubleshooting integration and data issue across various EPM applications and boundary systems during Development and test cycle
- Technical Design review, Code Review , Test case review , Working with QA team for performing coordinating Testing
- Writing operational handover KT documents and transitioning to global support teams
- Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to ensure service delivery is meeting business objectives
- Establish and perform standard development life cycle policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce development standards and practices
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of development and testing issues
- Coordinate and lead monthly patching activities with Infra teams for Non-production environments
- Take on various roles regarding project initiatives while following strict deadlines
Desired Profile:
- 8+ years of Application development experience in Oracle EPM version 11 or above within a Fortune 500 company: Hyperion EPMA, Workspace, HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase (BSO/ASO), FDMEE/ODI, Essbase Studio, Smartview is a must
- Experience in the successful leadership (or key role) for an EPM application implementation
- Experience constructing and communicating a cohesive systems architecture document/diagram
- Must have understanding of financial data and PL/SQl programming
- Hands on experience in Oracle Data Integrator is a big plus
- Leading development and QA/QE test scenarios during the development life cycle
- Well versed with software development life cycle and scrum/agile methodologies
- Hand-on experience in EPM application objects (outline, calc scripts, load rules, business rules) and related elements commonly found in Hyperion environments such as shell/SQL scripts used for automation
- Experience in cloud EPM solutions a big plus (eg. PBCS, OneStream, Anaplan, Adaptive or Host Analytics etc.)
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related experience
- Understanding of HFM consolidation rules, data forms/grids, reports and journals
- Expertise in Essbase calc scripting and MaxL batch scripting
- Demonstrated experience in application development/enhancement estimation and planning, including roles, activities, and time
- Excellent analytical, design, and organizational skills, with strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Oracle e-Business Suite R12 General Ledger module knowledge is preferred
- Working knowledge in relational database technologies and administration, preferably MS SQL Server and Oracle
- Knowledge of Hyperion application architecture and design principles, including infrastructure, table structure, protocols, and delivered objects
- Experience in installation configuration and Patching Hyperion EPM suites is a plus
- Experience with Hyperion clustered environments and VM infrastructure is a plus
- Experience with Web Technologies: Java, Apache Web Server, and Weblogic preferred.
- Must have a strong desire for process improvement and automation, best practice
- Manage time efficiently with the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently under minimal supervision
- Experience with high levels of accountability; demonstrated initiative, innovation, and flexibility
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player and be able to build consensus with others team members
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM techniques is a plus
- Hyperion certification is preferred but not required
