Senior Software Quality Assurance Developer @ Nuance Transcription

Summary: This individual will join the Digital product QA team in Enterprise RD. This team owns the testing of Digital products and components and is responsible to design and build manual and automated tests.

The Sr. QA Engineer will be responsible to automate new tests, execute automated tests, perform automated regression testing and provide test results to the product team.

The Sr. QA Engineer will build and execute tests for new features developed for the product. In this role, the Sr. QA Engineer will work closely with development and business teams to understand testing requirements, design test scenarios, write and execute manual and automated test cases.

The Sr. QA Engineer will need to effectively coordinate with onshore team to achieve testing objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance/Build Test framework to support Mobile SDK, App and mobile browser test automation.
• Design and Setup CI/CD solutions for Intelligent Engagement core platform
• Collaborate with feature developers, product managers and QA Leads, participate in test plans reviews and automate integration and functional test cases
• Review test cases from automation standpoint and provide meaningful feedback to reduce test execution time without compromising test coverage.
• Development of testing tools for test automation support.
• Co-ordinate execution of automated testing and report status.
• Improve stability of tests and test environment, implement best practices and actively look for process improvement opportunities

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar degree

Number of Years of Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance and Automation testing

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• 3+ years of experience in test automation comprising following skills
  • Automation Test Scripts for UI s (Smart GWT, Angular JS, Ember)
  • Automation Test Scripts for API s (RESTful API/Soap using JSON or XML)
  • Developing test framework Java/Python
  • Selenium 3.xx, Appium 1.10+,
  • Developing integration tests leveraging Junit/TestNg
• 2+ year of experience in SCM (git, perforce, svn), Jira.
• 2+ year of experience using tools and IDE s such as Charles proxy, Fiddler, Developer tools, IntelliJ/Eclipse
• 1+ year of experience in Continuous Integration and build tools (Jenkins bamboo, Maven, Gradle)
• 1+ year of experience using tools and IDE s such as Charles proxy, Fiddler, Developer tools, Android Studio, XCode, IntelliJ/Eclipse
• Experience with AI and ML for automated test results analysis is a plus.
• Ability to carry out coordination activities with Onsite DEV/QA teams
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
• Out of the box thinking, ability to test applications with thorough test coverage
• Have a strong technical background and ability to learn complex products and testing methodologies quickly
