Job Description

What you ll do

• Accountable for testing and test automation of data processing pipelines
• Ability to understand and test end to end solution
• Build utilities and functions to enable testing of data flow patterns
• Requirements Analysis, Data analysis and ability to clearly communicate ideas and complex designs in a distributed team environment
• Research, evaluate and utilize new technologies/tools/frameworks in Python Cloud ecosystem
• Lead performance and scalability test efforts
• Work with teams to resolving operational performance issues
• Work with architecture/engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented, and engineering best practices are defined and adhered to
• Lead or participate in integration testing efforts
• Identify technical debt new improvement areas and work with Product Owner and Architect to translate those user stories.

What you ll need

• Bachelor s degree in Computer / Electronics and Communication Engineering from accredited institution.
• 3+ years' experience in large-scale cloud solution testing
• 2+ years' experience with public cloud ecosystem ( AWS or Azure ), testing REST APIs and microservices-based system architecture.
• Expert experience in SQL, NoSQL, Python and shell scripting
• Expert understanding of file formats including JSON, Parquet, Avro, and others
• Experience with performance/scalability testing, compatibility testing over different browsers/operating systems/cloud platforms(WS/Azure).
• Experience with test automation .
• Extensive experience with Pytest, TestNG, MSTest, Loadrunner or similar build testing frameworks.
• Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Source tree, Crucible, Fisheye, Clover, Trello, Hipchat tools exposure will help.
• Experience working in an Agile SCRUM development lifecycle .
