Buyer - Ethnic Wear - Delhi/NCR - Meena Bazaar

Job Description

A Buyer in Meena Bazaar is responsible for selection and purchase of quality products and materials for the particular category, build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing, update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing customer buying patterns and predicting future trends

2. Planning for upcoming season

3. Selection as per the trend

4. Buying as per allocated budget

5. Sourcing of new vendors

6. Price negotiation to ensure availability of products at best rates with maximum profitability

7. Inventory Management & maintaining optimum stock levels

8. Allocation of stock to he stores basis the sell through at the stores

9. PO generation and follow ups with vendors

10. Training and mentoring the stores with regards to products

Required Candidate profile

Skills & experience:

1. Preferably from a designing background

2. Good communication skills

3. Familiarity with the market trends with regards to the category

4. Strong analytical,numerical and commercial acumen

5. 3+ years of prior experience as a buyer
