Responsibilities:

• Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems and applications for software enhancements in existing or new product.

• Works on analysis tasks and with no supervision on development tasks.

• Follows the defined software development processes and contributes to code reviews.

• Collaborates within and across groups in writing functional and design specifications, development schedules and user interface specifications

• Communicates clearly and effectively within team as well as with other groups like QA, Docs, Support and other product/engineering teams

• Identifies and suggests solutions to problems of moderate scope.

• Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Qualifications:

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech or higher degree preferably in Computer Science or MCA/MCS/MCM

• 2 to 5 years software product development experience

Must have skills:

• Languages: Should be excellent at C#, .Net, Asp.net, Windows Platform

• Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming and multithreading

• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills

• Strong programming and computer science skills, analytical skills. Experience in module design for Enterprise class product. Hands on with programming, debugging, technologies, and software design and development tools

Nice to have skills:

• Development experience in Microsoft SQL Server, RDBMS would be preferable

• Security/Compliance domain experience and C++ and/or Linux would be an added advantage

Experience with resolving issues reported by customers in production environment would be an added advantage
