Software Engineer II - Pune - Tsys - 6 to 10

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Will design, implement and maintain java application
• Will conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging; Identify production and non-production application issues
• Will perform application development tasks as necessary, following established coding standards focusing on usability, performance and application security.
• Will maintain versioned code in a source code control system; identify and turn over code for inclusion in scheduled builds and releases.
• Will produce component documentation including functional and technical design documents, installation instructions and release notes.

What Are We Looking for in This Role?

• Payment industry/financial transaction experience
• Experience using software development tools including source control (Git,SVN), Maven, quality management ( Agile Central), and Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, XL Release) is a plus.
• Knowledge of OWASP is a plus
• UI technologies - Scripting Frameworks ( ReactJS,Anjular,Node JS) is a plus

What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?

• 6-10 Years of relevant professional experience in Java, J2EE Development.
• Excellent knowledge of the Spring Core. Knowledge of Struts, JQuery/Javascript frameworks(Angular JS/ Node JS etc) will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of design patterns and development best practices.
• Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks ( JUnit/TestNG etc)
• Good analytical skills and written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Core java javascript, Spring/Spring Boot, MVC framework
• Should have good knowledge about wriing SQL queries
• Good communication ( we work onshore-offshore manner)
• Automated Unit testing
