Systems Software Engineer - Pune - Nvidia

Are you passionate about writing educational, well- documented code? Does the idea of enabling users on your software stack excite you? If so, read on.

What you ll be doing:

• You will work closely with development managers, engineers, and other logistical personnel to own educational sample CUDA applications, collectively known as the CUDA Samples. These samples are used to teach users about CUDA functionality by example.
• As part of the ownership of the samples, you will collaborate with the architects behind new CUDA features to exhibit these features in educational, well documented code.
• You will also work on the underlying infrastructure used to maintain, document, and test these code samples.
• Your work will consist of owning each level of the software stack, from high- level design to code implementation, to automated testing, to deployment.
• You will handle individual project timetables and report on progress and project blockers to drive new samples features to closure.

Other tasks you will be involved in will include:

• Work with Program Managers to prioritize coding efforts.
• Work within the team to help design and implement process and infrastructure improvements.

What we need to see:

• Experience developing C/C++ applications.
• Experience working with scripting languages (Perl preferred).
• Experience working on multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac)
• Ability to address technical issues quickly by interacting directly with engineers responsible for the feature in question.
• Ability to communicate with remote resources.
• Experience developing CUDA- C code a plus.
• Your real passion for writing highly educational code and documentation.
• Bachelor of Computer Science or Software Engineering, with 5 years experience in a similar or related role.
