Job Title: Engineering Program Expert

Summary: The Program Expert will help shape the solution from the requirement phase through to go - live. Expert provides leadership to cross - functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time and project quality criteria. The Program Expert also ensures adherence to defined Product life cycle management practices, provides Program Management mentoring, performs Gate Reviews and reinforces the enterprise knowledge management through the communication of lessons learned and best practices development.

The Role : As Program Expert for the Scrum teams, you will be responsible for:

• • Manage cross - team projects through indirect authority
  • Drive the planning and execution of releases from concept to GA.
  • Understand and assess critical paths and dependencies for developing and shipping products and facilitate discussions between delivery team of Product Managers, Engineering, QE and other functional teams throughout all the release phases.
  • Build and run, with the team, the release/Sprint master plan (schedule, dependencies, risks, etc.).
  • Use your technical background and product knowledge to proactively identify risks, issues and drive their resolution.
  • Be the expert on release life cycle processes and champion process best practices, metrics and high - quality standards with your delivery team
  • Independently and accurately report on the state of your release to executive stakeholders. Be the trusted speaker on the state of release in key checkpoint reviews.
  • Make constant assessment of feature pipeline, work done and work quality to support decision making on release delivery schedule.
  • Take product functionality live after driving compliance and other launch activities.
  • Assist teams in establishing clear commitments to stakeholders and help hold the teams accountable for meeting these commitments.
  • Drive other horizontal initiative related to development process improvisation and any project management tools adoption

Role Requirement:

• • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with typically requires 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Mastered Agile methods and practices through multiple teams (Scrum and Kanban). Certification in PMP/Scrum Master preferred.
  • Strong practical and advanced theoretical understanding of managing the life - cycle of large - scale programs and projects in Product organizations.
  • Experience must involve at least 5 years developing or testing Cloud software preferably in Java.
  • Experience must involve at least 5 years in project management using Agile methodologies and related tools (e.g. JIRA, Aha!, Business Objects)
  • Highly flexible, and able to change course quickly. Effectively juggle between multiple activities and priorities at same time
  • Evidenced ability to build support for ideas; credible enough in the role to influence highly intelligent and highly technical team members even without exercising direct control.
  • Experience modifying and/or defining processes rather than ing what exists today.
