Applications are invited from citizens of India for filling up the position of Project Fellows under industry sponsored research project by RI Instruments & Innovation India Ref: RIIII/PROPJ/MUJ/2020.
Project Title Metal hydroxide-graphene oxide nanocomposite materials for wastewater treatment

Principal Investigator (PI) Dr Pushpendra Kumar
Compensation For first year: Rs. 17,000/- per month + contingency Rs. 26,000 per annum.
Depending on performance project may be further extended for second year with increment gain as per norms.
Qualification Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (MSc in Physics, Applied physics, Materials Science or equivalent)
OR
Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E./B.Tech) in chemical engineering, materials science, nanotechnology, engineering physics etc.
The students with eligibility will be considered as per industry/MUJ norms and recommendations of selection committee.
Duration 2 years (initially the position is for 1 year and renewable for 2 year based on candidate's performance)

Job Profile The selected candidate is expected to conduct exploratory research in the area of materials science and engineering. The appointment is for strictly time bound project and she/he is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project.
General Terms and conditions
1. The candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit. Mere fulfilling the minimum qualifications will not entitle the candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final in this regard.
2. Candidates shortlisted for interview should appear in person with originals of degree certificates (one set of Xerox) and date of birth proof along with any other relevant information (e.g. experience certificate, copies of publications if any, awards, recommendations letters etc.).
3. The above fellowship is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research scheme and the research student shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in MUJ/Industry.
4. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or at the time of joining the post.
Call for interview Shortlisted candidates for interview will be intimated through e-mail/telephonically or display on institute website. The interview will be scheduled tentatively in May 2020. The candidates are advised to check their emails regularly.
Additional Information Candidate selected for this position might also do regular PhD provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for PhD program of Manipal University Jaipur.
